SAFE DELIVERY OF PETS

  SCHEDULE 04/16/2024 11:55pm (UTC)

Documentation Requirements
You will need to phone 'DEFRA' for the current regulations and, in most cases, an application form for a 'Export Certificate'. Apply for these at least 30 days prior to export. Your local veterinarian will be able to give you the telephone number of your local DEFRA OFFICE.

Free Quotation
First, we need to know the size of your pet(s) and the destination in order to supply a quotation. For this, please complete the Quotation Form and return it to 'Animal Airlines'. Immediately upon receipt of the completed Quotation Form we shall despatch a 'Free Quotation'.

Travel Containers
We can supply at short notice any size built to IATA regulations which can be despatched to your address, or airport.

Pre-Flight Preparations
Should you decide to use our services, a minimum of 10 days notice (30 days for Australia/New Zealand - because of heavy bookings) would be much appreciated in order to sort the logistics in time.
Flight Departure/Arrival
If booking, reservations will be made on the most suitable flight available and all flight details shall be posted to you within about 10 days prior to the flight, or, sometimes, 14 days prior. At the same time you will be given details of where and when to check your pet(s) in at place of embarkments. Also, at the same time, details of where and when to collect your pet(s) at the destination airport.

Customs & Excise
'Animal Airlines' arrange completion of all airline and HM Customs & Excise documentation.

Boarding Kennels/Catteries
Should flights be delayed for any reason, we have boarding facilities at our immediate disposal where your pet(s) will stay until despatch can be duly completed. These facilities are available at Manchester, Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.
