However, at 19 decided to go into business and formed the exclusive ‘Plaisance Show Dog Agency’- Exporting Show Dogs to a high-class clientele throughout the world. In those days, 45 years ago, Great Britain was ‘THE’ Country producing the very best. Soon, Champions followed Champions – (varying in no less than 36 different breeds ), hardly surprising, therefore, that Kennel Clubs throughout the world gave their full support with referral after referral.
Today, sadly, Great Britain can no longer boast claim to breeding the best dogs in the world and has become known, worldwide, as a Nation of Exhibitors – not Breeders, in the true sense. In foresight of this happening, 20 years ago, decided it was time to move on.
